Are you a shift worker, student or busy mom? Drop-in classes allow you the flexibility to adjust your training to fit your own schedule. We have drop-in Pole Dancing, Sensual Movement Classes as well as Conditioning classes specifically designed to improve your skills. So, no matter what your goals are, we are sure to have something that’s right for you!

Drop-in Pole Dancing Classes

Static Spins, Tricks and Combos 101

Static Spins, Tricks and Combos 101 is all about perfecting your foundations! You will perform new sits on the pole, practice your climb, and work on foundational strength training in order to progress into inverting. As your stamina improves, you will begin linking movements together to create smooth transitions. Members will work on variations of moves depending on their level of strength and technique. Our primary attention is on your safety and all members are given one-on-one attention for the highest quality experience.

Recommended for Beginners or those interested in mastering their foundational technique

Prerequisite:
Beginner Pole Level 1 Progressive Series

 

Hot Core Group Fitness Class at Sensual Serenity Alternative Fitness Studio, Kingston, Ontario. Circuit style fitness class targeting the abdomen and love handles.

Static Spins, Tricks and Combos 201

This class focuses on dynamic movements up on the pole, challenging your strength. Practice climbing variations, static poses, pole sits, handstands, and essential leg hooks. Members will work on variations of moves depending on their level of strength and technique. Our primary attention is on your safety and all members are given one-on-one attention for the highest quality experience.

Recommended for Invert Beginners and up.

3 Students in Pole Conditioing Group Fitness class at Sensual Serenity Alternative Fitness Studio, Kingston, Ontario. Circuit style fitness class using the poles and body weight.

Static Spins, Tricks and Combos 301

Static Spins, Tricks and Combos is all about being up-side-down! You will perform new hand grips, various leg hangs, static holds, drops and fundamental inverts to create memorizing shapes around the pole. As your stamina improves, you will begin linking movements together to create smooth transitions in and out of aerial inverts. Members will work on variations of moves depending on their level of strength and technique. Our primary attention is on your safety and all members are given one-on-one attention for the highest quality experience.

Recommended for Intermediate to Advanced level members 

Prerequisite: Invert Foundations and minimum of 3 months in Static Spin, Tricks and Combos 201

Pole Flow

Master the art of pole momentum, physics, and effortless lines with this choreography based class. Work on front falling spins, back falling spins, side spins, and various poses all while transitioning from one move into the next. There will be higher level moves given to advanced polers. New choreography will be created each week with 10 minutes of freestyle / play time given towards the end of class.

Pole Fit

Have you reached a plateau in your Pole Dance training? This class will take you to the next level! The focus is on pole specific strength, endurance, stamina and power training for those who are interested in mastering tricks and inverts. Repletion’s with appropriate rest breaks in between will allow for recovery to maximize your performance.

Prerequisite: Intro to Pole          Level: All Levels         Intensity:  Moderate to High

Power Pole Group Fitness Class at Sensual Serenity Alternative Fitness Studio, Kingston, Ontario. Pole specific crosss training class to work on strength and power for pole tricks.

Sexy Flexi

Sexy Flexi as a flexibility / mobility class designed specifically for dancers and aerialists. In order to perform perfect lines, your flexibility, mobility and stability of your joints is a must! This class will focus on strengthening and stabilizing muscles and the core in order to hold poses, moves and tricks. Master your splits and backbends progressively in a class focused on safety with a qualified coach.

Students participating in Flexi-Mobility group fitness class while at Senual Serenity Alternative Fitness Studio, Kingston, Ontario

Booty Builder

Build a booty that will stop traffic with this intensive muscle building workout class! If you are struggling to grow your glutes, this class will get you to that next level. We focus on strength training all areas of the glutes in order to lift, shape and create the appearance of a smaller waist. We also throw in some thigh and abdomen supersets to tie it all together. This is a LOW IMPACT class. There will be no jumping around and doing lunges so it’s perfect for anyone with lower body injuries.

Booty Core Bootcamp Group Fitness Class while at Sensual Serenity Alternative Fitness Studio, in Kingston, Ontario. Group Fitness for women.

Chair Dancing and Floor-Work

When we think of chair dancing, we think of Pussycat Dolls and Brittany Spears! Work the chair like a vixen then take it down to the floor with sexy leg waves, crawls, shoulder rolls, floor tricks and hip circles. Choreography will be simple, however various skill levels will be provided within one class. There will be something for everyone!

Correctional Body-Work (Coed)

Correctional Body-Work class targets muscle imbalances and poor movement patterns that cause us aches and pains in our bodies. We develop these imbalances with repetitive movements that compensate our body alignment and posture. The class focuses on foam rolling, trigger point therapy, nerve flossing, and correctional movement / strengthening exercises to correct posture, alignment, and joint mobility to reduce pain.

Recommended for desk workers, athletes, aerialists, dancers, or anyone who has poor posture or struggles with pain.

Prerequisite: None           Level: All Levels         Intensity: Low to Moderate

*This is a coed class. Husbands, boyfriends and friends of our members are welcome.
